Frequently Asked Questions

It’s completely normal to have questions before starting counseling.

This page is here to help you understand what to expect, how the process works, and how I can support you along the way. If you don’t see your question answered here, feel free to reach out,

I’d be happy to talk with you directly.

The first session is about getting to know you: your background, goals, and what brings you to counseling. We’ll discuss what’s been working, what hasn’t, and what you hope to change. It’s a safe space to talk openly without judgment.

If you are hesitant to begin counseling, I offer a free 15min consultation for teen and adult individual sessions to see if we may be a good fit to work together.

For self pay, individual intake sessions are $125 and all following sessions are $100

Parent consultations for play therapy are 30 minutes and cost $50. Play therapy sessions are $100

I reserve a limited number of slots for discounted pricing based on financial need.

Yes, secure telehealth sessions are available for clients across Texas, offering flexibility for busy schedules or those who are not able to make it into the office for regular appointments. Available for clients 12+ years of age.

My goal is to make the process as comfortable and approachable as possible.

You don't have to have it all figured out before you start.

Yes. I am able to accept some insurance plans by billing under my clinical supervisor.

Plans include but are not limited to: United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, and Aetna.

Insurance availability is limited, and I maintain a set number of spots for insurance clients. Once those spots are filled, services are offered on a private-pay basis.

Because coverage and benefits vary by plan, please reach out directly to confirm your insurance benefits.
